This post is all about wedding night room decorations.
So much planning goes into a wedding. From the moment the engagement is announced to that final last dance of the wedding.
A romantic first night for the newlyweds is the perfect way to conclude the wedding celebrations.
Decorating the wedding suite for the bride and groom is one of the best ways to create a romantic first night for the newlyweds.
Wedding Night Room Decorations
Over the years we’ve had the honor of decorating several wedding night suites all of which were appreciated by the bride and groom.
However, it can be overwhelming to come up with decoration ideas for the wedding night suite.
That’s why in this post, we share 10 simple wedding night room decoration ideas that you can use to create a romantic atmosphere for the new Mr. and Mrs.
Simple Bed Decorations For Wedding Night
You can go as big and as elaborate as you want when it comes to decorating the wedding suite.
However, we have always found that it is the simple little things that make the biggest impact.
We highly recommend using flameless candles for the wedding night room decorations.
That way you can turn these tea lights on before leaving the wedding suite.
Traditional tea lights work as well but they would need to be lit by the bride and groom upon entry to their room.
With the flameless candles, the atmosphere will already be set for them upon their arrival.
They truly create a romantic atmosphere for a memorable first night for the bride and groom.
Bridal Room Decoration With Red Roses
#2 – Rose Petals
Rose petals are a must for wedding night room decorations – as nothing says romance quite like red roses.
We recommend using artificial rose petals as they are easier to work with and clean up.
Sprinkle the rose petals on top of the bed. You can create different designs like a heart or swirls.
The traditional random sprinkling of petals is always a lovely way to go.
Depending on how many rose petals you have, consider sprinkling a walkway of red rose petals from the door of the wedding suite leading up to the bed.
#3 – Flameless Candles
We love these flameless candles. They look incredibly realistic and last a long time.
You can never have too many flameless tea lights when it comes to decorating the wedding suite.
#4 – Just Married Sign
This Just Married Sign is perfect to hang outside of the wedding room suite or across the headboard of the bed in the room. The newlyweds will love this special extra touch.
#5 – Waterfall Lights
These waterfall lights can help to create a romantic ambiance in the wedding suite for the bride and groom.
You can hang these lights behind the head of the bed to add a little sparkle to their wedding night.
#6 – Wedding Day Candle
This Wedding Day Candle is a special little gift to leave in the room for the bride and groom to light upon their arrival.
It has a lovely scent and is something that they can bring home with them as a sweet keepsake from their first night as Mr. and Mrs.
Romantic Wedding Room Decoration
This lovely set of Mr. & Mrs. Champagne glasses compliments the romantic wedding night room decorations perfectly.
Not only will the bride and groom be able to share a private toast together but they also will be able to use these special glasses for years to come.
#8 – Champagne
Whether it is champagne, sparkling cider, etc – having a special drink for the bride and groom is a lovely gesture and helps to create a romantic first night for the newlyweds.
#9 – Champagne Bucket
Fill a champagne bucket with ice to place the champagne (or beverage of choice) in so that it is nicely chilled by the time the newlyweds make it to their wedding suite.
Put together a goodie bag for the bride and for the groom.
Have one of the bridesmaids and one of the groomsmen each put together a little bag filled with the bride and groom’s favorite snacks.
You will then leave these goodie bags in the wedding suite as a special surprise. The newlyweds will love having something to snack on after their big day.
